Hi! I’m Sophia a mom of 2. I love knitting, sewing, camping, baking and all things cooking (especially sourdough). This blog with have a little sprinkle of all of the above.
I’d like to share with you why I’ve started this blog. I’ve never felt the need document my life before, but now I find myself wanting to share how I live with others.
I gave birth to my son on a cold winter day in January. Giving birth to him was so different than the birth I had with my daughter almost 4 years prior. Yet, sitting there nursing him felt so familiar. His tiny feet and hands (even though all of the nurses seemed to comment on how big his feet were haha), his full head of black hair, his perfect little face. It brought me right back to the day I first became a Mom. My babies, the family my husband and I have built is everything I have ever wanted.
Then, my daughter came to visit and in that moment it seemed like she grew up overnight. In my heart I mourned the loss of my first baby, but also joy for this new chapter we were entering. This change in my life made me feel regret; regret for not soaking in her little years better. It gave a stark contrast of how fast time goes, how little time we have with our littles. My hope in this blog is to share those little moments and memories that make life so beautiful. To inspire you and remind us both to take a step back and love in little ways everyday.
